Baking Wife Modern Life

Gluten-Free and shamelessly delicious

About Me

Hi, my name is Rebecca and welcome to my blog. I am a wife, avid animal lover, a family girl and a full time university/college student. I’m Gluten Intolerant which kind of sucks but this has prompted me to incorporate more fresh fruits and vegies into my diet and make smarter choices.

Put your hand up if you agree…As soon as people hear that you have a dietary requirement all of a sudden its an EPIC ORDEAL having you as a guest at their dinner parties? I have this happen a lot and whilst I understand why people freak out, I cannot understand why people think cooking gluten free is so hard? Umm…Steak and veg anyone..? Simple example.

This is where all my thoughts, passions and recipes come to life. Weekly I will post something delicious and if I encounter some good AND BAD products at the supermarket you will definitely hear about them too. If you weren’t instantly distracted by my fur-babies, you would have noticed I like so many people are kept for time so unlike the Heston Blumenthal’s of the world my recipes are quick, effortless and delicious

My Beautiful Family

I hope to share with you good honest cooking using fresh ingredients. Appeal to your appetite with clean and healthy ideas. Most importantly, create food that is fun, relaxed and often by necessity, simple and quick to make using simple and readily available ingredients.

I am a veggie lover who enjoys her meats.

I am a health advocate who enjoys her sweets.

All recipes and pictures are that of my own unless stated otherwise (as you could probably guess by the lack of photo editing!) . I don’t have a closet of props, Photoshop or any other fancy things normally used for food blogging. This is how it is and I cannot pretend to be something I am not. Forgive me and lets be friends!

I hope you enjoy my page
